In What Way Do We Live?

Do we live our lives as a living praise to God, or do we seek our own ways? The secret to a successful life, is a life of humility toward our Creator. There can be no self-promotions or prideful arrogance when approaching Him. He must be forever treated as the Supreme Being, honoring the Father through the Son by the power of the Holy Spirit guiding us in our lives. The Holy Spirit does not drive you as a demon, but rather works with you, your personality and talents are used of God, if you will make it available for Him to use. The deterrents in living a successful christian life, are centered around us. Satan and his co-horts are able to provide stumbling-blocks along the way, or bait our way with traps to either stop us from living a christian life or keep us turning down the wrong paths. If we do persevere and walk in a path of righteousness, he brings attacks from every way he can. He is hoping to discourage us or cause us to fall into a sin of going our own ways, following the paths of being drawn away by our own lusts and desires, while sometimes keeping enough form of religion to appease our conscious, allowing a searing of true conscious and truth within our inward parts. If there can be no enticing away or frustrations don't work, pride may work to destroy the Christian. He may be built up into thinking himself something to be something more than he is, given validation by worldly possessions, without much power and full of talk. Teachings and truth are great, but if they are never translated into Christian action, it is a empty, hot-air balloon, full of nothing. Promises and hope die from a lack of action, seed dying in the ground, full of promise, but not watered with the Spirit grown from study and meditation with the Lord, spending time with the Father in communication each day.
Then there is the life that will prosper in the Lord, the life that honors the Father and will not be moved. The person that will endure until the end, in prosperity and poverty, in sickness and in health, knowing that these occurrences are only temporary, the permanent life is with the Lord. Let us finish well the race we have started as Christian believers and not be moved by the circumstances of life. God bless you today, as you consider this message. Familiarize yourself with the story of Zerubbabel.

Zechariah 4

5Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

6Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

7Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

8Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

9The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.
